  • DO I NEED TO FILL THE PROPANE TANKS BEFORE I RETURN THE RV?

    No, we will fill the tanks. This covered by the prep and sanitizing fee that you pay when you rent from Diamond Peak RV Rentals.

  • DO I NEED TO FILL THE GENERATOR WITH FUEL?

    No, we will fill the generator upon return. This is covered by the prep and sanitizing fee that you pay when you rent from Diamond Peak RV Rentals.

  • DO I NEED A TRUCK TO TOW A TRAILER?

    No. Towing can be done with many different vehicles. It all depends on the towing capacity of your vehicle. We have multiple trailer sizes, with some that can be towed by a mid-size SUV.

  • DO YOU ALLOW PETS IN THE TRAILERS?

    No, all of our RV's are pet free. Several of our owners are highly allergic to animals.

    If we see evidence that a pet has been taken in our RV, your deposit will be forfeited.  

  • WHAT IS THE COST OF THE GENERATOR? 

    All of our RV's come with a generator for you to use, free of charge. Our trailers require the rental of a second generator or an upgrade to a larger generator for $20 per day if you want to run the A/C unit. 

  • WHERE CAN I DUMP THE GREY AND BLACK TANKS?

    There are several places in the area to dump black and grey tanks. Here is a website that lists many of them.

    It is also a good idea to check areas near where you are camping. Many mountain towns have RV dumps available in them.

  • DO YOU OFFER DELIVERY?

    We do offer delivery services. Please contact us and we can walk you through delivery options and pricing.

  • WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF DAYS I CAN RENT AN RV?

    When booking directly through the Diamond Peak RV Rentals website, the minimum length of rental depends on the time of year. During the peak summer season, from Memorial Day through Labor Day, the minimum rental is four days. Outside of the peak season, the minimum number of days depends on the RV. Some RVs will have a three-day minimum while others will have a four-day minimum.

  • WHAT COMES WITH THE RV?

    Each RV comes with a generator, and an outside rug to help keep the debris from entering the RV. We provide all hitches, including stabilizer bars, if

    necessary, hoses for fresh water and to dump the grey and black tanks, wheel chocks and leveling pads to help when setting up the RV.

    We also have available for a nominal fee: camp chairs, coolers, kitchen supplies, linens (sheets and bath towels) and a bike rack.

  • DO I HAVE TO CLEAN THE RV?

    We ask that you return the RV at the same level of cleanliness as when you picked it up. A bucket of cleaning supplies is provided in the RV. If you choose not clean the RV or do not return it at the same level of cleanliness, we will withhold a cleaning fee from your deposit.  The fee to clean varies based on the size of the RV and the amount of cleaning required. Cleaning fees range from $125 to $300. You may also purchase a pre-paid cleaning. If you choose this option, then no cleaning is required. 

  • HOW DOES THE DEPOSIT WORK?

    The deposit is a hold on your credit card. Once the RV is returned and inspected, the full deposit will be released as long as the RV is clean and there is no damage to it. 

  • HOW MANY MILES PER DAY ARE INCLUDED IN A MOTORHOME RENTAL?

    100 miles per day.

  • WHAT HAPPENS IF I EXCEED THE 100 MILES PER DAY?

    You will be charged a minimum  of $0.50 per mile for every mile over the 100 mile allotment.
